13th and 27th November - General Gymnastics Four Piece Competition
The Regional General Gymnastics Competition this year attracted a large number of clubs from all over the region. Hinckley Gymnastics Club entered 15 gymnasts who all performed excellently for the club.

23rd October - GYM FUSION

Last weekend New College Gymnastics Centre was transformed into a theater with specialist lighting, smoke machines, back drops and sound systems in place for East Midlands largest gymnastics festival GYM FUSION.
Hinckley Gymnastics Club had 3 different acts taking part and they all put on great performances throughout the day.

17th and 18th September - Mens British Championship 2011
Last weekend the best gymnasts from all over the country gathered for the most intense and prestige mens national competition to date. Our Senior and Junior lads put in a great performance winning a record breaking 12 medals between them.

Senior Competition:
Ruslan Panteleymonov - 1st on Vault, 2nd on Pbar, 3rd on Rings, 3rd on Floor.
Yvengeni Gryschenko - 2nd High Bar, 3rd Pbar.
Junior Under 18s:
William Trood - 1st All Around, 1st on Rings, 3rd High Bar, 3rd Vault.
Robert Sansby - 1st Floor, 3rd Rings.
Congratulations to Finlay Clarke, Daniel Powers, George Lovell and Conor Pallat who also put in superb performances over the weekend.

10th September 2011
Last weekend the Down Syndrome Assciation held an International competition at New College. 75 gymnasts from the length and breadth of Britain (including a local team from Leicester), Norway, Slovakia and California competed in this prestigious event. The competition was such a great success that plans have began for New College to host the Down Syndrome World Championships next year.

New College and Clarendon Park put on a variety of activities over the summer with a record breaking 2200 attendance across the two centres
A mixture of new members and current members enjoyed activities such as freestyle, trampolining, gymnastics and pre-school.
Following the success Hinckley Gymnastics Club is going to continue to put on activities every school holiday, so watch this space. We will be uploading information soon.
